Increasing business visibility

June 9th, 2011 Posted in Advertisement, Brand recognition, Clothing | No Comments »

If you run your own business, especially in the service industry you may be finding times quite tough at the moment. To increase customer’s people need to notice your business, out of a large number of similar businesses, so you need to make sure your company stands out.

Marketing is one of the main ways businesses attract new customers, and in the age of the internet this has become easier. However because of the internet, more traditional marketing forms seem to have been forgotten and because not all of your customers will be online, you could be missing out on a core group of people.

Simple forms of advertising such as billboards are one way to increase visibility and another is using advertisements on clothing for your staff. T shirt printing is a really easy way to get your company out and about on your staff’s clothing and because they are in and around your customer and makes them easily identifiable. Not only that you can also send them out and about to deliver flyers increasing your visibility even more.

Adlogo and many other online printing companies have a whole selection of clothing that can be printed onto, with whatever design you require. Many bulk orders also see a discount so it’s a really easy way to kit out your staff and a fairly cheap way of advertising. You already pay your staff to work, so why not use them as free advertising as well.

Recommendations from childhood report

The Bailey childhood review has been published, and many of the recommendations outlined, which are supported by the Prime Minister David Cameron, will have marketers looking to change a lot of their marketing campaigns.  The report includes the prohibition of under-16s from peer-to-peer marketing activity, as well as covering up front-page sexualised press images which will be restricted as will placing of risqué ads placed outdoors near schools.

New guidelines have also been issued by the British Retail Consortium on age-appropriate clothing for children, which have seen nine highstreet brands sign up to already, including Asda, Marks & Spencer and Debenhams.  It is worth pointing out however that there won’t be a blanket ban, it will all depend on context of the advert and where it is placed and who it is aimed at.

Some of the key proposals include:

-Providing parents with a single complaints website
-Covering up sexualised images on front pages of magazines and news papers
-Banning the employment of children under 16 as brand ambassadors and in peer-to-peer marketing
-Restricting outdoor ads containing sexualised imagery near schools

Corporate Designs for Customised T-Shirts

May 13th, 2011 Posted in Advertisement, Brand recognition, Clothing | No Comments »

Customised t-shirts can be an extremely effective and creative way for businesses to promote their brand, communicate a corporate message or advertise a special offer or event.  More and more companies are choosing to advertise in this way, and so the market for designing and printing is growing stronger and stronger.

Companies are able to consult with designers to ensure that their design is suitable for their business needs and that the finished product will achieve the ultimate results.  Alternatively, businesses are able to electronically deliver their own designs, which can then be used for the t shirt printing easily and effectively.

Screen printing is the most popular method of t-shirt printing for companies, as it is cost-effective and allows for bulk orders.  Most companies such as Adlogo prefer to use this method, as the use of the stencil allows them to print further t-shirts if required.  Digital printing is also popular for this reason, but the costs can be higher.  This method involves using a design on the computer and ink jet printers to create fabulous customised designs.

Hand painting and embroidery are other, more time consuming methods of transferring designs onto t-shirts and are perfect for smaller scale promotions.

Whichever the method, t-shirt printing allows businesses to create customised garments to ensure that their corporate message and logo is able to stand out.  More and more businesses are realising the potential of advertising this way and the results can be outstanding.
