G-Star Raw Denim is a unique, cutting edge clothing brand that continually pushes the boundaries in the design world. Formed in 1989 the rough, rudimentary and raw characteristics of this brand have seen G-Star sit at the forefront of distinct style in the fashion world.

Their philosophy of “just the product” has always been at the forefront of their marketing approach and the development of their innovative design products like Raw Denim has meant that they have had a major influence on the Denim market since the range was launched in 1996. G-Star has aimed to appeal to all styles, ages, new trends while keeping the clothing as accessible as possible, with clothing ranges including t-shirts, hoodies, jackets and more.

As well as being a leader in the fashion world G-Star Raw is also forging ahead with its Corporate and Social Responsibility to ensure all G-Star products are of high quality, fashionable and well crafted but also the clothing is manufactured in an environmentally and socially responsible way. They focus on 3 areas creating and managing a responsible supply chain, developing sustainable products and minimising their impact on the environment. As well as this G-Star Raw also launched their own foundation the GSRD Foundation, where they engage with the wider community in the countries where their product production takes place.

For G-Star Raw’s recent SS10 campaign they had actress Liv Tyler headline their advertisements for the women’s wear clothing a proving to be a great way to gain interest as celebrity advertisements seem to get more press and interest. The campaign posters feature a number of black and white simple images again using their tried and tested philosophy of “just the product”.
