Worldwide appeal of UK brand
British clothing brand Bench was founded in Manchester in 1989 as a t-shirt brand that found inspiration with BMX biking and skateboarding popular during that time, since then the brand has expanded into other clothing garments with designer menswear and in 1998 to women’s wear.

Their most popular products are still their t-shirts however they have expanded into jeans, jackets, hooded tops, hats, watches and jewellery, a common feature on Bench clothing is the incorporation of the brand name on their designs with many t-shirts, jackets and hoodies featuring ‘Bench.’ across the chest or across the collar.

Adding more to their profile Bench became the official shirt sponsors of Morecambe Football Club in 2009 their logo is seen on the 09/10 season kit for the club’s final year at Christie Park commemorative home and away shirts.
Bench t-shirts
The company since its inception has also expanded with their stores in the UK including Bluewater, Liverpool One, Trafford Centre, Meadowhall, Metro Centre, Brighton and Leicester and opened recently their 13th store in Leeds. As well as a number of outlet centres in the UK, they also have the outlet centres in Berlin, Hamburg, Toronto and Vancouver internationally. They are also a popular online brand with many online outlets stocking their clothes as well as their own successfully online store.
Bench Jeans
For their SS10 collection Bench created an inspiring new range which was built on separate stories for the season but still delivered on their heritage products with quirky graphics, extreme silhouettes and an increased style injection. This season Bench have also launched a line of kids wear for boys and girls aged 2-16 which is inspired by the adult ranges, basically mini replicas of the functional urban street wear.
